EDUCATION

Education is key to helping returning citizens move forward with their lives. We collaborate with them to determine where they are and based on their desire to learn, we help them on their future path.

Our ultimate goal is to open a trade school for our returning citizens.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Health and wellness are key to KBDB's services. We see the link between wellness, positivity and a know-better mindset in our returning citizens. KBDB strongly advocates for a healthy lifestyle, and encourages healthy eating and exercise.

CAREER READINESS AND SUPPORT

We work with our returning citizens to assess their abilities and skills. We then provide career development direction and support. We help with resumes and getting ready for interviews.

We accept donations of gently used business and casual attire. Connect with us to schedule pick up by using this contact form here.

Most of all, we encourage our returning citizens through the process of getting their first job after incarceration.

FAMILY RIGHTS

Before they were incarcerated, some of our returning citizens were parents and may not be aware of their rights after leaving prison.

We advise our returning citizens on regaining their rights as parents and how to navigate the system.

Community ACTION

We are connected with our community! KBDB Inc leads community clean ups and uses those opportunities to share information about our services and partner with other nonprofits who provide similar support services.
